We did this shoot while traveling in Tuscany this June at Lucca Horseriding ranch www.luccahorseriding.com It was a highlight of all the Italian trip!
We did a trail ride thru woods, hills, famous Chianti grape gardens, villages and even small river... it was unforgettable experience!
Lucca Horseriding Ranch own more then 35 horses and each one of them is special and exceptional in its character, behavior and is respected, loved and taken care of in the best possible way. Most of their horses are born in a wild herd in the National Park of the Garfagnana. Every year they take in some of the one year old foals and train them by the Parelli methods.

''Laura, owner of the Nostro West Ranch, was only 4 years old when she told her dream to her father: her own horse. She begged and begged her father for a horse until he was convinced that Laura was really serious about it.
Her father Franco, became a great horseman himself, realised his daughter's dream with lots of sacrifices. At the age of 12 Laura won price after price with riding. She developed an exeptional talent for training young horses. Now Laura is just 26 years old, and is the owner of the most Western ranch of Tuscany. ''
Rosi, born in The Netherlands, has been riding all her life. Mostly dressage in the Netherlands. After the first Western trail ride in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, her love for Westen riding was born.
It was not until eight years ago, that her dream came true, when her first own horse Nishan galloped in her life. She took her grey Arabian from the Netherlands to Italy.
Rosi set up Lucca Horse Riding on the ranch and teaches, guides on the trails and organizes workshops.
We were lucky to meet Rosi, her husband and their dog during our visit. They are the sweetest persons, just after 5 minutes we felt like an old friends!
